Got more wood scales so decided to use the bubinga for my bk11. Ive got a lot done but i dont think i like it. Will probably change a bit.

They seem too thick for how thin the blade is. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I think i want to trim down the front of the scales a little bit. It seems like to much of a contast between the blade and handles.

okay, black screws.

I personally would've went with a darker wood, but that is just a matter of preference

You may want to blur the edges more on you finger grooves, they look a bit to sharp and may cause discomfort.

I do tend to like darker wood and i grabbed a bunch more but this is what i decided to try first. Ill try to work the finger groove a lil bit more. Theyre pretty comfortable even now.

I'm reminded of how us old timers like the early Buck 110's because they have crisper edges. I like the way you have them now.

To me it's a substantial handle that goes well w/ a chunky blade-- looks good.

updated pics with the final product. I really wanted to keep the same shape so I just shaved them down to be thinner and rounded them up. They aren't as bulky now. I like the shape because it looks like a design Ka-Bar would have gone with if they made a full handle for this knife.

One thing I really need to work on is finding and practicing a better method of screwing the handles together. If anyone has seen any of my other handles I've done, you know what I'm talking about. I don't do pins because I don't like the idea of the handles being permanent, especially since they are far from perfect. Any suggestions in that department would be appreciated.
