I've been looking at this knife for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger. It's always hit and miss when you order something sight unseen and I'm very happy I decided to take the chance. The wood is just gorgeous IMO, fit and finish is very good and the knife fits my hand well. I had planned on cutting the end piece down to the same size as the handle but after getting my hands on it I'm not so sure. It's not in the way as much as I thought it might be so I'll give it a try and see what I think. It also comes in handy as the knife fits very tight and deep in the sheath so it makes it easier to pull out, though I'm sure it'll loosen up in time.

The only thing I don't like is that it has a secondary bevel. I'll have to go to work on fixing that. The bear isn't quite centered on the sheath but that's no big deal to me.

Overall length is 7.25" and the blade is 3". Oh yeah...it was less than $50 shipped from Finland.

Very nice knife, I am guessing that it is Finnish? Finnish blades tend to have a secondary bevel to them.
