Greetings. My interest in knives rekindled a few months back, so I thought joining this forum would be a good idea. I am sure this place will be both fun, and informative.

If I may ask, what was it that brought you back to blades recently?
 
Funny thing about that. I am originally from New York, but lived in Texas for over a decade. I am/was heavily into gun collecting, but New York went totally twighlight zone on me in this regard. My previously secondary affection for knives gradually became a new found passion. Seeing that New York knife laws (outside NYC) are even less restrictive than Texas (except automatic knives as of August), fate has helped me into the bladed world.
