I'm currently torn between 3 knives.
The Spyderco Spydiechef, the Quiet Carry Waypoint (available soon they say),
and the TRM Neutron (if they ever become available again.
I love them all equally and plan to use it as EDC, not just an addition to my collection.
Could you please help me out here?
Pros and cons etc.

Blade shape of the waypoint is more versatile, and it comes noticeably thinner than the spydiechef. If you have larger hands, the waypoint might be a little small. The deployment reminds me of the CEO where the stud is slightly buried, it flies out great though once you get it right.

If you're looking for EDC, the waypoint wins. I got mine in G10 and in the year I've owned it, has held up perfect for fishing and other nasty jobs. I feel like the Ti wouldve scratched up too much. Both have wire clips, the QC is a little lighter and carry better due to its slim shape.

BUUUUT, the spydiechef is substantially cheaper.

Just buy both.

If appearance counts for anything: that Quiet Carry is really nice-looking...

I feel like the Neutron is gonna be your winner for EDC. The blade shape is the most utilitarian and versatile in my opinion. Plenty of edge for any task you could have, very thin blade stock made for cutting all day long, and a nice handle that even let's you choke up for detail work. Plus TRM offers a variety of scales to swap out and change up the knife. Not to mention the 20CV is top tier.

Yeah, I agree.
Now where can I find one? :)

I don't know if you've seen this but the guy(can't remember his name) from Cedric and Ada has the Neutron 2 as his favourite EDC.

Yeah, I saw that yesterday.
His name is Pete.
I always wanted a Neutron, but his video pushed me over the edge.

It was also Nick Shabazz's knife of the year 2019, and mid range winner for 2018. Pretty sure he said it would've won more after that but he disqualified it for other knives to win lmao. If someone as picky as Nick loves it, its gotta be some piece. I don't always share his tastes, but his eye for quality is there.

I’m not impressed with the Spydie Chef for EDC and was disappointed with a Quiet Carry Strand after light to moderate use.

I’d go with the Neutron 2. I have an original Neutron and it’s a great EDC slicer.

Register with TRM and you’ll get email notifications when drops happen. There’s another later this month and one just happened day before yesterday. If you’re logged on at the right time with decent internet, you stand a good chance to get one.

I love the SpydieChef for not being just another yellow FRN Salt folder and for having the curves of the Drunken.

OK folks.
The clear winner of these 3 for me was the TRM Neutron 2.
I contacted TRM to put me on the waiting list for one.
About 30 min later, Jenn, from TRM responded and said she could help me right now.
She had a few available, of which one was just what i wanted; OD Micarta.
She invoiced me thru PayPal, I paid for it, and it should be on its way in a few days.
I'll post it up here when it arrives.
I am excited!
But I think I'm gonna have to get a Waypoint too when they're available.
Thanks for all your comments.
