TOPS USA is the only authorized manufacturer of the Tom Brown Tracker knife. Anyone else manufacturing the Tom Brown Tracker is not currently authorized or licensed by Tom Brown. TOPS began manufacturing the Tracker under license from Tom on Nov 2001. None of the former manufacturers of the Tom Brown Tracker knife are authorized to make the knife, including Dave Beck. At the start of Tom's work on The Hunted, Tom contacted Dave and asked him if he wished to make the Tracker again (he had discontinued manufacturing
the Tracker at that time). Tom told him about the movie, and that it had the potential to be big, but Dave told Tom that he did NOT want to make the Tracker any more, and in fact sent a letter to Tom stating that he rescinded all rights to manufacturing the Tom Brown Tracker.

We ask therefore that anyone interested in purchasing a Tracker, do so from TOPS USA. Their web site is http://www.topsknives.com

Authorized or not, it's still a butt ugly knife...:D

Tops should continue making the tracker though... they make a lot of butt ugly knives...:p

I for one think that these guys should take their dirty laundry to court or elsewhere. It's not a clear case of infringement or anything but tempers are beginning to run high and people are getting pissed off. Let us know when it gets sorted out.

Dave was never contacted by the Tracker school, it is a pack of lies. Tom Brown used Dave and asked for free knives from Davey, everyone that really knows Brown, knows he is a money grubbing hypocrite.

Davey deserves some recognition, no mass produced can EVER reproduce what Davey can hand make.

Brown IS A SCAM>>>HE LIES AND BELIEVES HIS OWN LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has his groupies post in his defense, why can't Brown keep good people around him for long?

HYPOCRITE_LIER, he was no more taught by an ancient APACHE than you or I!!!

Go Ahead buy into his scam and get taken.....

He is getting richer and richer and using more people now than he ever did....just ask his asssitant FRANKIE.....
