Yet Another Which knife should I buy? thread

Are you sick of these threads yet?

Ok, here's my choices:

1) I can afford a moderatly expensive, relatively rare knife that I already have one similar to and that I like.

2) Save up more moeny and in another month or two by a sebenza (likely micarta inlay)

3) Buy two spyderco's I have my eye on ( Kopa and mini Manix)

I would say save and get the Sebbie!!

VOLPE! Sorry if that didn't help, but it's a cross between the Kopa (inlay), Sebbie (framelock), and Manix (flat ground, blade shape)
You'll get everything you want.

If I were in your shoes, I don't know if I'd have the patience... but I say save for the Sebenza.

I can only tell you what I'd do in your shoes, and I'd rank them as follows:

First choice: #1

Second choice: #2

Third choice: # 3

"Rare" is the operative word, along with the fact that it's similar (but not exactly the same as) to one you have and like.

I'd bet Micarta Sebbies are here to stay, although if you especially want one now then go with that.

Nothing wrong with the Spydies -- just don't rank them as high as the others.
