Yikes its been awhile!

But i promise i am still around. Just picked up a new file and did a little "adjusting" making my bk15 MINE so to speak
finished stripping the coating off, neatened it up a bit, took a file and filed the spine 90 degrees to make sure it can (and does) throw sparks really nicely. and tried on the new pants, which i decided i DID in fact like better than the old black pants (surprised me)

anyways, there are many like her, but this one is MINE :D







Really just pleased and happy, my only remorse is that i am unable to get out and play with her more often ;)
 
apple cider vinegar, what i did was strip her down. wrapped her in a paper towel and soaked the paper towel in apple cider vinegar and let sit to taste.

then took her outside and beat on her a little...she came out rather purty didnt she ;)

although as i said, i didnt really leave, since i never seem to be able to find time to go out anymore, i seem to spend more time in the traditional sub-forums, but when the itch hits and i really want to get out into the woods again, i find myself coming back (man i wish i could get out for a bit, but life is NOT co-operating)

but this place is great, its like coming back home after being away at college (or deployment) and its nice to see the new faces and MOST of the old faces ;)

Slip joints are addicting, and there is a very good community over in that s/f.

yeah they are a good bunch of guys. Its amazing how different they are in perspective and philosophy to this forum, but the guys in this forum are a great bunch of guys too, just different, more raw so to speak :D
