I was wondering the same thing Laurence. I called a knifemaker friend of mine, who lives in Santee(San Diego area)to see if he was doing OK, his son who lives in Alpine(where Paul Bos lives) answered. He said they had to evacuate the area, so he was staying at his parents house.
I asked him about Paul, and although he knows him through his father, he didn't know that he lives in Alpine.
I still don't know if the evacuation was partial, or widespread in Alpine.

Laurence: Thanks for your concern. Being the dummy I am I stuck it out I beat it twice befor so I thought I would give it one moore try. Every thing I have is in my home, We need a stake when we move up to Idaho next October. So far If the wind dont kick back up again we will be alright. Thanks again . Paul

Once again the wisedom of the environmentalist wackos goes up in flames and as the perasites they tuely are it is at the cost of others. Perhaps if they prevail much longer their idiotic unfounded spouts about global warming will come true, inspite of common sence.
