Yojimbo 2 Clip screw issue?

Today I noticed my clip was lose and upon further inspection two of the screws turned freely and only one was tight. Figured they had just come lose, so I grabbed my torx and all they do is spin. Its almost as if they are not making it past the G10 into the liner to tighten down. Has anyone else had this problem? I have had a number of Spydercos and have never seen this before. I really hope I don't have to send it in, it was a long enough wait for this knife :) Any input is much appreciated!

I had this happen on my Endura 4. I think from over tightening too much, coupled with catching the clip on counters and corners ect. I just switched to tip down carry haha.

I tried moving to tip down and no dice, same thing. I would try to add locktite, but I don't think it will grab anything.

I looked at it again a little closer this morning and sure enough, two of the screws are visibly shorter than the other one. They must have been barely hanging on and the the thread gave up. Whats the easiest way to get new screws? I already contacted Spyderco, so I am hoping they get back to me sooner than later, I want to carry this again soon!

Yeah, they got back to me yesterday. They are sending me some new screws. I had no doubt in their CS, just wondering if anyone else had the same problem. My guess is they were over tightened at the factory and the threads pulled. Sure wasn't my doing, as I have only had it for a week and its been in my pocket since. Great little knife!

I bought two Yojimbo 2's, and have only been carrying one of them. After a week or so, I noticed the clip was loose and sliding side-to-side. I Loc-tited them, but they came loose again. I noticed that the screws tighten up fine without the clip, but with the clip it's like two of them were stripped? I checked my screws on the other Yojimbo that is still new-in-box, and it spins around and around loosely, so I guess it was stripped from the factory.

I sent Spyderco a message from their website, and they sent me three replacement screws. I put the new screws in an Loc-tited them with no issues, so I'll see how it holds up. I'll try my "extra" screws and swap them with the screws on my other Yojimbo, before I contact Spyderco again.

I love the knives, but I wish there was a better way of attaching the clip. Hopefully there won't be any more issues.

Yep, this was the same problem I had with mine! I think someone at the factory was having a bad day and over tightened a few too many screws!

Same here. Screws too short, barely touching the liners. Tips stripped. Anybody know the size and pitch? Easier to just buy longer ones at the hardware store, at this point.

Addendum: grabbeD an old black delica clip, ground the contact point thinner. Screws catch now. Still going to look for longer ones.
