Hi everyone. Just got my second Yojimbo 2 and noticed something. On the blade, side with the Spyderco symbol... very close to the pivot there seems to be some sort of writing. It appears it was done with the same color and font as the rest of the writing on the blade. I cannot make out what it says. The only reason I can see it is through the tiny hole in the g10 for tip down carry. It looks like four digits, with a space between the second and third numbers.

Any ideas? Or do I have to take this thing apart? Just curious what it may be. My other Yojimbo 2 does not have it.

I believe it's the date of when the knife was made. Have one on my PM2

Yeah, it's a date. My guess would be it's when the blade was produced rather than when the knife was put together, but they could be so close the difference is meaningless (or I could just be wrong :) ).

Thank you both! Weird. I don't see it on my first Yojimbo 2. Guess its just slightly out of view.
