is there really any advantage that the more expensive yojimbo 2 has over the centofante 4? i havent handled the yojimbo 2 yet, but the centofante 4 is one of my favorites, its so simple and light, and the wharncliffe blade is superb. is there really any point to buying the yojimbo 2 with a wharncliffe this nice at such a lower price?? any thoughts or comments?

S30V or VG10
USA or Japan
Janich Design or Centofante Design (w/Spyderco of course)
Compression Lock or MidBacklock
G10 or FRN
Self defense/utility design or gentlemans folder
Thicker overall profile or thinner overall profile

There are plenty of differences to each knife. It isn't as easy as " I already own a Wharncliffe do I need another?" it's also hard to not find another excuse to buy another knife. If the design appeals to you, buy it and try it out.

you really can't compare those two models, they're two different animals.

The Centofante 4 was discontinued this year I think. Shame, I really would have loved to have had that design in G10 and ZDP or even Super Blue.
