Yojimbo as EDC?

Greetings all!
Have any of you used the Yojimbo as a utility knife? If so how did you like it? How was it to sharpen on the sharpmaker? Thanks

I have been carrying the Yo as a daily user for the last couple months. I haven't needed to resharpen yet, though!

I've carried mine since they came out (I have an early blue one). Just be nice to the tip and that sharp edge will be nice to you
The Yojimbo sharpens up easily, just like any wharncliffe with a thin edge.

I carry my Yojimbo pretty frequently. Come to think of it, it's probably the knife that's most likely to be on my person at any given time. It works great as a utility knife for daily chores and the straight edge is easy to sharpen.

If it was a bit smaller then I would consider it for work use. A smaller Yojimbo or a straight bladed Dodo would be perfect.
