Looking at the few pictures of the Yojimbo I've seen it doesn't appear that the clip can be reversed for lefties. Is this really the case? If so I'll be very disappointed (along with approximately 10% of the population).
 
Seem to recall it was only tip up but both strong and weak side carry.
 
Bear in mind the pics you have seen are just prototypes, and perhaps not the final version.

While on the subject, is the Yojimbo going to be offered with black G-10 handles or just blue?

He didn't say that black Y's -aren't- being assembled...

but...

he DID specifically say "blue"...

I guess the first batch won't have black g10 then? Any idea when those are scheduled for assembly?

While the blue is nice... unless it's a much more subdued color than the Dodo, it really pops against khakis or slacks (or the color jeans that I wear ;) ) ...

Ok, you've shut me up with this one. I am willing to wait for a quality product.

Besides, thinking back I remember that somebody mentioned that Spyderco liked to have approximately a 6 weeks "head start" before shipping. If assembly began on the 21st of June, we can hardly expect them to appear in the store before the beginning of August.
