So the Yoji Trainer is new and I was thinking about getting one. Anyone get one and have thoughts?

I don't have the Yogi Trainer but I do have the Endura Trainer. It is well made and has stood up to rigorous use. Looking at the YT, the tip, though rounded, looks very small. I would be a little concerned about impact trauma from the tip during heaving sparring.

Alright I was wondering about the action and if you hit a bag or a wooden dummy a lot if it would fracture because of the steel and the holes cut out of it. Hmm, I still don't know. A solid piece of dull steel is one thing but this I'm not so sure. I have mine made out of wood. Edit: I would still like a legit trainer and this is as close as we can get and it's finally here, but I'm just so skeptical. I wish we could have gotten an Ulize trainer but that model tanked for one very obvious reason. :(

Update:
Alright yeah I'm bumping a ten day old thread, but I got the Yoji2 Trainer a couple days ago and my rundown is it's great, but on jabs with someone else will hurt them like the dickens. It's heavier than the other Yoji2s because of the steel I guess, even with the skeletonizing. This is a non-issue with deployment as we all know the liners throws the blade like lightning, but it really helps with the return as it sinks the blade back quicker and smoother. Speaking of smooth, all the edges are smooth and even the spider hole is smoother than on the regular Yoji2s.

Overall if you like the Yoji2 get it because all trainers are hard to get to begin with and it has exception fit and finish. I will include a quick image of the Yoji2 that I EDC, on days I do not have the ulize, and it for no reason at all. yoji2.JPG
