Any updates on the release of the Yojimbo? I'm really excited to get my hands on this knife.

Hi Kublai. The engineering is complete and the model is waiting its turn for a pilot run.

Spyderco is a small company and we do introduce many new models. In addition to our regular production, we squeeze in "pilot runs" of new models to work out "Gremlins" that don't show up until actual production processes are used.

There ae currently five models in line for pilots.

I wouldn't expect we could produce anything until late in the year. If it furns out to be trouble free, than earlier is possible.

That is a question that we've not yet decided. Pilot runs are now kept at a 20 piece test.
