I handled a Yojimbo and put one on reserve at my local dealer yesterday. I was impressed. It has a good compression lock and the very long handle is quite comfortable. When I take it home, I'll have more to say.

I look forward to the review. Heck, I was impressed with the pictures, I can only imagine what it's like actually handling it. I'm glad to see that it's hit the streets.
What was the cutout like in the G-10 where you access the compression lock? Some pics I've seen look like there is a small cutout with very little compression lock showing. Which looks like a good thing. It would seem to be virtually impossible to accidently close.

I've got one ordered, should have it in a few days. I'm looking forward to this one as well. I handled one at the Spyderco booth at this years BLADE, and it was different that I expected. The deep index finger choil combined with the long tapered handle gave it a unique grip feel. I really liked it, I only wish Spyderco had some for sale at the show.
V1- I can't remember how the cutout looked, all I remember is that the whole package was well thought out and unique.
