Yojimbo?

Hey there everyone in the Spydie forum. This is my first post in this section, and I will admit I never liked Spydie knives before I joined the forums. But now I have a few ones and like them alot. Today I got 2 in the mail a Sage and a Yojimbo. I am a big fan of Michael Janich and his MBC program, and always wanted the Yojimbo. Anyway onto the main reason for this thread. I have heard talk of Janich stating he plans on designing a NEW yojimbo with Spyderco at the last shotshow. Anyone else hear of this or have any new info on the project? Thanks:)
 
Congrats on the Sage and the Yoji. Both are very awesome and unique blades indeed. I can only hope to someday find one of those awesome Janich/Snody Yojimbos floating around.
I've heard some grumbling, but nothing concrete. Mr. Janich became my hero after I discovered the Tatang knife, what an awesome blade, OMG! Plus it was featured in a videogame. Awesome.
 
Thanks dude. I got really lucky with the Yojimbo, found an sale old post from BF on google. The post was almost a year old but I conacted the poster and he still had it and sold it to me at a great price. I would also like to get my hands on a dodo some day as well

Pics or it didn't happen, lol! I cannot believe your luck man. You NEED to run and buy some lotto tickets or something. I've been searching for the fixed blade Yojimbo,check post #11 -

Maybe that's the problem. The fixed blade version isn't called a Yojimbo. It's a Ronin. :):thumbup:
