Looks awesome and love the brown (and S90V). I would have liked it without DLC but then I don't need to be any more covert than with any other folder. Of course, the Yo 2 is a great design.

I will be opinionated enough to say black on a Yo is bad. Good means colors that are less noticeable with normal clothing, like blue and brown. I would have preferred tan. I don't like coated blades but Spyderco does such an outstanding job with S90V that this might just go onto the "buy" list.

Well seeing as I just got a regular Yo a few weeks ago I think you can all thank me for this release.

I'd been deciding on if to wait for sprint or change and said nah' it'll never happen.

I'm still hoping a Yojimbo2 XL becomes a reality.

But another Yo2 sprint would be more than welcome too.

Even an S110V/dark blue G10 (to follow suit with the Manix2 , Para2 and Military) would make me very happy.

Cruwear or M4 for me. With gray or dark green scales.

Why would you want such a super tough steel for a Y2? The best traits of the Y2 are the point and blade shape for pearcing the skin of a bad guy. It is not a tool like a Hinderer, the Y2 is the bodyguard to get you home to family.

And I think the new color conbo is awesome, a black blade/handle is just boring and soooooo common.

I would like to see a tough steel for the very reason you mention. Something tougher than S90V at least in a sprint. The blade is delicate as it is so a tougher steel would mitigate that fact a bit.

Exactly! Thin edge and fine point benefit the most from a tough steel. One with a good balance of toughness and abrasion resistance = M4 or 4V but Cruwear does really well too, as does 3V with the latest developments in heat treat. Nothing wrong with S90V (one of my favorites for a cutter/slicer), but just stating preferences.
