I've had the pleasure of handling 4 such pieces by Yoshindo now...everyone has been a most humbling experience.

The notion of these being simple is turned on end when you realize that few smiths in the WORLD, could replicate them. So yes, these are at the very top of understated/simple elegance.

I DREAM that someday I will be able to approach this!!!

Absolutely stunning. A work of art from a true master. Is it any wonder people have been collecting these things for hundreds of years. Makes you wonder if some of the old swords you see around ever looked this alive.

That's what it's all about. Those recent double edged blades by Yoshindo, in particular, are superb. If I weren't spending ridiculously on my house and car, I would own one.

In all seriousness, of course I love his knives, but I cannot afford even his smaller ones.

After continuous and careful examination of that pic, I have come to the conclusion that that blade is actually ALIVE! Simply astounding! Wow!
