I'm interested in what you carry for an EDC that's UNUSUAL, that is no production or semi custom unless it's been modded.

Here's mine that barely meets the criteria: Mayo'ed Large sebenza

There you go... can't use html on the forums. You have to use
.

probably my darrel ralph mini maxx spearpoint talonite blade, or my emerson CQC8 zero bevel grind blade. i really carry the '8 all the time, but the maxx is more unusual imho due to the carbon fibre handles (not many maxx's have CF handles darrel told me 4 IIRC) and the talonite blade.

PerformanceFirst, thanks for the help. I knew it was something like that. Me + computer = oil + water! Thanks again!

naggalowmo, thanks! The Para-Military in its orginal form is a great knife and preforms its intended tasks, like most other Spyderco offerings, with ease and efficiency. I just seem to gravatate to smaller knives. This knife is still wide but when worn IWB just disappears. I love it! Even with just a 2" cutting surface, it's still a very handy blade to have around.
I'm not as happy with the Military but still it's also extra low-ride and disappears easily. Thanks again for your reply!

If we are having a prize for the most unusual and smallest edc I think I'm in the running. I have a serrated forest green Spyderco ladybug on my keychain. I use it far more than I ever imagined. It's 2" (legal in California) blade with those serrations cuts like a knife twice its size. You can even get one with a little flashlight built in.

Here is my non-standard EDC.

User Cold Steel Ti-lite, zytel scales (:barf: ) replaced with green linen micarta by CHAX.

I also carry a Large Classic Mayoed Sebbie. Have gotten so used to the holes I actually asked what it was when I recently encountered a plain Lg Classic Sebbie. No lie. Even thought to myself, "what a butt-ugly knife".

Really stunned me, but I only have the one sebbie, and, after a couple of years, you begin to think all of them look like that.

On the other side, it is a 8 or 10 YO Busse, but nothing out of the ordanary for that time frame.

I carry a Victorinox One-Hand Trekker to which I added a pocket clip. Just about the perfect knife now. All the tools, CE, locking, thumb hole, clip...

Not "hard use" or "combat" or "extreme", but honestly I don't DO much of that.:p

I think this one counts as unusual... :) I designed and made this prototype Mobius.

It's most unusual feature is that it can be gripped conventionally:

Or it can be "worn" like a finger-hole or HideAway kinfe:
