How many shooters do we have here on BF?

We played in a tournament a couple of weekends ago. I cannot believe how tired I was after that Sunday. 30 hours of pool that weekend .........

Here's a pic of the first floor in the morning.....can't see all the tables, but there must've been 150 tables there and upstairs. People from all over the midwest they said.

I'm a shooter, but of a different type. :) I prefer the smell of gun powder to the smell of cue chalk. However, I did grow up with a table in the basement, and my cousin is a heck of a player. That's a heck of a room in that picture there. Reminds me of the gross anatomy lab back in the day....

30 hours of pool?? That's a lot of shooting right there. How did you do?

Hey Nathan,
It was fun, that Sunday we played for the 10K and lost, so our team took 2nd place. I was thinking that maybe a game like pool has fallen to way side tho in favor of video games and other things ??? I don't know.... The long weekend was tiring but maybe I'm just gettin old :D

I consider the hours I spend with a cue in my hand are golden.
Helps ya' cultivate horse sense and a cool head and a keen eye.

Been a while since I pulled the ol cue outta the case. But I did recently have a guy ask me to do a fluted blackwood handle with twisted silver wire like an MS Dagger for him, and I'm gonna do it.

I agree Karl, and the cue I have has been with me since the old man and I, picked it out together 28 yrs ago. He's gone now, but I still have that cue. You should post some pics of the fluted handle....it sounds very cool. Larry
