Hi folks -

I know you all have vehicles - what do you use to protect the paint finish?

Wax? Polymer? What do JK folks use to make their cars sparkle?

I have 4 cars - I use Malms Carnauba on two, and Meguires paste wax on my wifes Impala SS, and Meguires ICE on my Colorado.

I just bought some Meguires Gold Class Carnauba and I intend on re-waxing my truck - I like to see water bead when it rests on my vehicles, they are a significant investment.

What do you all use?

Um...bird droppings & dead bugs right now.:o

I usually use turtle wax car wash when I do get around to washing my Colorado.(nice choice of truck BTW)

I keep a healthy coating of dirt and dust on my jeep. I'm proud to say that in 6 years of owning it I have never washed it

You have a Jeep too?

You can see why I used Turtle wax on the Fiat, it looks like a little turtle!

I don't, I'm afraid, although sometimes I get a christmas gift with a bunch of car cleaning stuff in it and I use whatever comes in that...maybe those gifts were hints.

That is a cute little car, John.

I noticed that you keep your cars very clean.

For my daily vehicle I've been using a Turtle Wax "Wax As-You-Dry" type of spray wax. Works pretty well for a quick shine. I've always been a fan of Zymol for a good once a year application. Better be in shape to do a large sized vehicle though ;).

And as for my other vehicle, I use a steady application of dirt / dust / grease / grime / whatever is in my way. For reference, that is my hardhat in the foreground.
