OK guys, I saw in the Double Aerial post that you wanted to see how to do some moves, so here they are in order from most to least dangerous:

Blasto, this one is for you-

1.) http://MCMBR143@doc.bus.orst.edu/students/m/mcmbr143/bali/HorizontalAerial.avi
Horizontal Arial

Note: Your timing on this one has to be perfect to avoid getting cut. Good luck!

Chinese Man and Angel of Death, here you go-

2.) http://MCMBR143@doc.bus.orst.edu/students/m/mcmbr143/bali/OverShoulder.avi
Over the Shoulder

Hope these help everyone out!

Great Vids McMahan:D I like the horizontal aerial. The over the shoulder toss is great to. The over the shoulder toss that I refered to is a little different and does not utilize the other hand. It comes from behind the back, over the shoulder to the front of the body landing in the same hand it was flung from. I'll have to try it your way though, it looks pretty fun.

Those vids are pretty sweet...

The over the shoulder I've been doing sounds more like 7cain's. I start behind my back, toss with my right hand, it flipps over my left shoulder, misses my head/neck ( VERY IMPORTANT ), and I catch it with my right hand.

Yours seems smoother though.

The horizonal toss looks cool, too.

Hey Blade, try it going over your right shoulder, it is much more fluid.;) also makes it easier to slip right into a reverse grip if you want to catch it lower in front of you (currently working on this one, you must toss higher and let it flip twice, but the catch is lower than on a single flip landing in forward grip)

7Cain and blade_420,
Glad you guys liked the vids. I’ve actually never seen any video footage of an over the shoulder throw so I figured there would be a few variations in technique. I am going to have to try your guy’s methods, they sound like they would look pretty good if you pulled them off right. I’m just worried about stabbing myself in the back of the head with that behind the back toss.
7Cain, if you watch the over the shoulder video closely, you will see that I only use my right hand for both the release and the catch. The only time you see my left hand is when I move my left arm up so I can get my right hand under it and behind my shoulder. But that gives me an idea, I think it would look pretty cool to release with your left hand and catch with your right, or vice-versa.

Thank You McMahan ahead of time. Im just waiting for the video to load. :D I bet the video is really cool.:D

McMahan, I just now got to reading this post. Great vids!! Thanks a million. I've been doing two horizontal flips and catching it in the forward position. I've got to try the backhand after seeing that. And has anybody done over the shoulder aerials going from the right hand, over the right shoulder, and back into the right hand again? Because that's the only way I've ever tried it. Maybe that's why I've bled so much trying it. :D

Chinese man and Blasto,
You're welcome for the vids. I hope they answer some of the questions you had. And Blasto, your over the shoulder method sounds pretty dangerous, I think I'll have to find the tape before I give your technique a try.;)
