Ideally I'd like to find a nice stainless damascus small classic seb with or without inlays, but I doubt I will. So, shall I get a wood inlay with S30V or the new micarta inlay? Right now I just carry my small classic plain and I love it, just trying to change it up a bit. I don't carry my small reg anymore. Anyone want it, or should I keep it?

Hold out for the Damascus. I'm on the list for an upgrade. I'll wait. IMHO, you wont be happy with anything less than your dream.

Yeah, but I mean I can always get one eventually.... I'm in the mood to grab whatever is available. Does anyone have the new micarta inlay seb? how do you like it?

Well I have one on order (Micarta inlay). I think it'll be the cat's meow as an EDC. I might hesitate to use to use a damascus blade. True North Knives has them in stock (if you are fotune enough to be right handed). I've been carrying my large regular and have really come to appreciate the simplicity of it. I'll certainly be posting my impressoin of the Micarta inlay when I get it in a couple weeks.

Hi Jedi,

Yeah, I have and carry the new small micarta inlayed Seb. A fantastic little folder! I swap it out every once in a while for my small Damascus Classic with ivory inlays. Sorry, I don't want to sell at this point. This is a one of kind stainless damacus blade with the new clearcoat Kalguard coating. Double protection I guess. Seems to be working well.

I agree, stick with waiting for the Damascus. I'd like to see a full size Classic micarta inlayed Seb with it.

I'd go with the micarta inlay if I were you. I wish the folks at CRK would reconsider and make micarta available on the Mnandi. ;)

The more I think about it and look at it, I'm wanting the micarta one.... I think I may just order one from truenorth now....

As far as a micarta Mnandi, I'm not sure I'd be interested if they made one. It's a gents knife for sure, not a semi-tactical like the seb. Micarta seems to be a very tactical material, like on the Green Beret. Speaking of Mnandi, I've had a few of those, but kept selling them bc I had no need for a gents knife, and always ended up with a seb in my pocket. Although, I would still like to have one in my collection again someday, hopefully snakewood.

Hey Jedi,

I'm celebrating 2 years off the booze in september and I'm trying to my damnedest to finagel my girlfriend into having a small sebbie engraved with my quit date as a memento so if you decide to part with that regular it might make my pipe dream a little more attainable.
