When you see those banners running at the top and bottom click on them. Visit these people as they are who pay the bills around here.

Also the banners you see that are not knife related pay us when you click on them and view there site. So visit these sites and see what they have to offer, and do so often

I thought I remember you saying that we shouldn't jst click, click, click, because they can tell if we're just clicking and not really looking.
What I've been doing is click one, then browsing quickly throught the sight then closing the window. Will that do?

Hi Mitch,

I think you have to click on something on the first page, then you can close the window. That's what I have been doing. I try to do it once of twice a day.

Mr Turber, I have a 17" monitor and am running Windows 98 with Microsoft Explorer. I have to scroll down to see the bottom banner adds. They do not make it onto the screen otherwise. I have the standard Toolbar and Address Bar at the top of the Explorer window. The BladeForums logo generally runs one under the other on most forums, and there is a lot of white space at the top. Perhaps that is because you want to keep the bottom banners from flashing onscreen, I don't know. But I think you would get more traffic if they would be visible without scrolling. I do know that I frequently click on the knife-related top banners because they are there and grab my attention between times I am learning something from the threads or getting annoyed at them. Thanks for these forums, they are the most informative sites in knifedom.

The banners run at top at a low percentage and the bottom all the time. We won't have a problem unless the click rate goes over say about 3%. As you can see we are nowhere near that.
