You can only choose one knife for the rest of your life which one and why [pics]

That is an easy question to answer for me. My Busse Active Duty. Small enough for constant carry, perfect thickness in the original Custom Shop version, perfect blade shape.
In my opinion, the best Busse ever made, and in my 66 years the best knife I have ever encountered.

I could get through life just fine with just about any 3" - 4" EDC folder from Spyderco, Benchmade or Kershaw. An Endura, 710, etc. For the past few days I've had a Kershaw Blur in my pocket. If I had to choose right this moment, it might be a FFG Endura. But thank goodness I don't have to.

What is your dream knife the be all and end all knife.

As in... I could only ever own/use this one knife ever again!?! I guess it would have to be a Mora... I can't see using a folding knife for kitchen duties... or a kitchen knife for bushcraft... Mora seems like the best compromise...

Any one of the knives I have now. The dream knife doesn't exist for me. Just a lot of good ones that will do the job I need them to.

I could do everything I need to with my ESEE 3. But having one knife isnt very fun.

My dream knife would start life in my head as my ESEE 3. Then id remove the choil thicken it up to 3/16 of an inch and have it made out of the 3V.

For the tasks I normally put my knife through, I think I'd be just fine with a Paramilitary 2. While I use some larger fixed-blades for camping, I'd just press my axe, hatchet and saw into more service if I had to restrict myself to one knife.

Probably the 3.5" XM-18 Spanto Flipper. This may be the most ultimate all-purpose knife.

I still don't know yet, its a tie between my VECP and 3.5' XM18 spanto 20cv

It would have to be a fixed blade for me. Busse sfno with a nice leather sheath would be my choice.
