You can only keep 2 of each...

There have been plenty of threads posing the hypothetical question of what Busse (or kin) you would keep if you could only have one.

What about if you could only keep 2 blades in each size range (small, medium, and large.)

Here's what I would do...

Small: Game Warden and Meaner Street
Medium: Urban Grudge and Hellrazor
Large: CGFBM and Ruck (for the Zombies)

These six knives would be my pick and I would feel like I had all the bases covered. :D

I'll kick it off:

Small:
Anorexic Basic 4
BAD

Medium:
ASH SE
SAR 6 LE

Large:
B-11
NMSFNO

This list may definitely change when I get a chance to use some of my new acquisitions. To make it easier on me, I kept my list to INFI only.

I'd probably have to give the rest to my girlfriend or roommate to keep them closeby.

You all are quick. This was hard for me and I don't even have that many blades.

Good choices by the way!

Small-MS,CABS

Med-SJACLE,NMSFNO

Large-BWM,NMFBM

Would not be happy about this situation.

This is a tough one.

Small, BAD and CABS

Medium: SarQ and Muck

Large: ZKII and B11.

There.

Oh, wait, this is exactly what I have!

If I could pick any, this might change. Dragon fang sized without finger grooves, or Chuckette sized would probably make the mix.

The Muck is not really what I consider a medium sized knife. I would probably include a Sar6 or 7 in that mix. Or a SFNO.

Of the ones I own...

Small: Sold them all - dont like small Busses

Medium: SARsquatch & NMSFNO

Large: BWM & CGFBM

Small: Active Duty and Cultulus.

Medium: Wardog and RatManDu LE.

Large: Basic 10 and EU 17 Magnum.

:D

Small, don't care for the small Busses, does the SAR 5 count as small?
Med: Sarsquatch comp, satin jack tac
Large: B-11

ok I'll play.

Small: SAR-3 + Skeleton Game Warden
Medium: SAR-6 + NMSFNO
Large: CGFBM + B-11

This depends...on whether they are users that are being carried or if weight is not an issue... Assuming the later, I would go with

Scrapivore, RMD LE
dSF or TG, Hell R.
NMFBM (need one), Rucki

Good thread  6 knives is a realistic group of users ... something I could trim down to !

Small - Phil Wilson Smokey Creek - Alan Wood Woodlore

Medium - Basic 9 plus spare Basic 9

Large - NTTKZ and NMFBM

Sad to say goodbye to my Basic 11 ASM though :foot: ....I think I definately need to go for a " Lucky 7" :D

Well if it's an asym B11, I think you can have 7 :D.

I've definitely enjoyed reading everyone's choices!! I know it was really hard for me to pick my 6 and I'm still not totally set on my choices.

I have been thinking lately about trimming my collection down to a few sets of users. I don't know if I'll ever get the courage to do this, but it's a goal of mine. Of course I might need to change the number to 9...or 12. I never intended to be a knife collector, but I am quickly becoming one. I guess it's not the worst thing to be :D.

Of all the Busse's out, it is a hard choice to pick only 3, but here's my shot
1> small would be a boss street
SANY2550.jpg

2> medium would be an SFNO saber grind "which is what I carry everywhere in a spec ops sheath with a bic lighter, swiss army knife and surefire light"
SANY2578.jpg

3> CG FBM for chopping, but not so much weight as to really wear on your side. ps. a HHFSH if I want to make it a little smaller

gut-wrenching thread more realistic than most, but honestly this is Busse and we need an XL. and 3X per size
