Hi all,

We need your help with another poll!

If you were going to build a Buck 110, Nickel Silver Bolsters, and G10 scales, what color would you choose for the scales? We are going to run 3 different colored 110s very soon, and would love to run what YOU want.

So please, pick your 3 favorite colors. Here are the swatch colors for you to choose from:

Green, Orange, Purple, Red, Blue, Black, Gray, Teal

Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!

(Psssst, going to be a drop point in a special steel!)

will this be a solid color or will it show black in the layers?
Smooth top scales or will it have a griping texture?

Black, black, and black, actually I voted black, grey, orange. Blacks gotta be one of them!

MaxCast! It's going to be a solid color for each. The sample we had done was done in black with solid and it looks very very sharp! Not opposed to doing layers in the future though. Thanks for the question!

There's a zillion knives in black out there. Bright colors make us happy (it's science!) and so do knives (maybe not science, but they sure make me happy.) I went with red, blue and orange. And thank you, skblades, for giving us a chance to add a bit more color to our hobby. ;)

I actually have on in black from the custom shop.
That would be my first choice.
For some thing different I would vote red or gray.
Or maybe black with a different color liner. Like red.

Honestly Insane! The custom shop is what turned me on to this knife configuration as well. The configuration below is one I saw when touring the Buck Factory. I've been daydreaming about it ever since. But some of the feedback I've received here at the forums has made me shy away from releasing it as a run. Serrations and finger grooves look seriously wicked, but I'm not sure this crowd would like it, no matter how much I daydream about it!

I would want a super steel on it too, which the custom shop does not have. So another reason I wanted to release it as a run.

The bottom three colors will go with the NK great! The other colors will clash with silver and I will not be a buyer, change the frame to brass and I'd do the orange.

I vow to never produce a 110 in brass! Part of the reason we started doing 110s in Nickel Silver was my distaste for the brass. :)

Agreed I dislike brass.

This is the one I built.
I like the one you built. I unlike alot of other people love serrations on my edc knives and if that knife had a clip on it would be perfect for me.
I do have a Lochsa also But I am not going to edc that knife . Too limited only thing on the lochsa I do not like is the Thumbstud and I love how it only has the single bolster.

I voted for green, black, and grey. I am not much into serrated blades but the finger grooves would be nice. I also am not much into the brighter colors on a 110 although it would be ok if done in a layered g-10
such as OD green with a brighter green.

If it has a thumb stud and pocket clip, I'll not purchase one. I like a nickel frame and one bolster with a drop point blade. In teal, red or grey. DM

The teal showing on my screen makes me think of Brit Racing Green. Would look nice with silver.
Close runners-up would be gray, black, green.

As you can see everyone has a different opinions. Good luck choosing. I am sure what ever you decide it will be a good choice.

Red doesn't clash with silver! Those two go together like peanut butter and chocolate. Just ask any Ohio boy. ;)

Classic smooth Yellow with nickel silver or brass bolsters.
Black sawcut with nickel silver or brass bolsters. (to match the black Delrin on the 300 series)
