You decide my Christmas gift

Ok friends,

My family will be deciding gifts this weekend and they know it is something knife related under $55.00. So here is my proposal: I will let the good people here at blade forum cast their recommendation for what new knife I should get. It doesn't matter fixed or folding, I don't care the steel. This is pure knife nerd "want a new toy" fun. It just has to be less than $55.00. On Saturday, what ever has the most +1 recommendations will win.

If you don't get enough recommendations you could put about 10 different knife suggestions in a hat and draw out the winner. There are a ton of good knives under $55. Ontario RATS 1&2, Kabar Dozier folder, Condor Bushlore, the aforementioned Swiss Army OHT and several Kershaws, Cold Steel and others. Good luck.
 
Ontario rat 1 or 2. I have both and really like them. For $30 they are a great bargain IMO. I am buying several for Christmas gifts. They don't hold an edge as long as some of my more expensive knives, but they slice very well and are easily sharpened to a razor edge.
 
Thanks for the recommendations, keep em coming! I figured I would get a bunch of + 1 for something and that knife would win. This was the alternative for going crazy trying to decide which knife would be the perfect compliment to my already extensive collection. I have all the major categories covered. But Who doesn't need another Skyline or izula? All of us here have spent hours and hours searching for the perfect next knife! This time, I thought would try to let the group decide!
 
Let me clarify, I know most of the players and models. Esee, rat, kershaw, spyderco. I thought it would be fun to let the forum choose.

You might still be able to find a Becker BK15 for $45. They are on sale/reduced atm.
 
Becker bk15 is on sale for $42-45 from a few different vendors (knife enter, coyleoutdoors), so id say that's a pretty good choice.

Lots of other good options here though. You could try a few others at the same time as well, like a svörd peasant, opinel, and rat2 just to try a few different things.

If the cold steel extra large voyager is any thing like the extra large Gun Site knife I have....its a pretty cool knife. I don't carry it often...but it's still cool, practical...idk
