You ever feel like a CRK was waiting for you?

I'm new to CRKs, and the ones I have bought so far have been really new, like birthdays within a month or two ago. But my last purchase seems to have been waiting on me for over a year. Just kinda strange to think about it sitting on a shelf in its box for that long waiting for me to hit the buy button. You guys ever feel like you were just meant to have THAT one?

Yes I do, as a matter of fact, the last 10 or 15 yelled at me. And none of them want to leave. :)
Each and every one that CRK makes is special to someone.

Of course, that's why I have so many! The last one that called to me is a carbon fiber small, and it's in my pocket right now:)

Sure do. I was one of the people lamenting over the "fugly" Sebenza 25 Micarta when pictures first surfaced. Oh, the horror! as another BF'er would say.

Well, I walked into my local (40 miles away) B&M store only to see one sitting there, patiently, and had been since they picked it up at Blade 2015 a couple of months earlier. Apparently the $520 was too much for everyone, which is understood.

However, the light was shining just right through the window, through the glass case onto it in such a way I was transfixed as soon as my eyes landed on it. It was one of the most beautiful pieces of art I've ever seen.

And it was waiting there, in silence, all peaceful-like and patiently for me to come in the door finally.

That knife left with me and it will never leave me until I die. It is the older more-refined stonewash that I prefer.

I bought a lefty 25 Micarta recently that doesn't look as nice IMO with the "new" stonewash finish, and I EDC it and use for everything like it should. The 25 I earlier spoke of gets to simply be admired for what it is. A thing of beauty, a piece of functional art that also can perform if I ever need it to.

But chances are I will not. I always have the other one, so I get to eat my cake and have it, too. Since I am lucky enough to have two pieces of cake!

Yup. Bought this one at a brick and mortar store last year. Didn't even check the DOB until I got home and realized that it was made the same day of my now fiancée 30th birthday to whom I just proposed to this year on her birthday. Gotta say this one is a keeper!
The knife and the lady of course. :D

Yes. I've told this story before, but I got my Sebenza at my local store in January of this year. As you can see from the birth date, it waited a long time for me. It waited through two and a half years of me admiring it in the display case before I finally pulled the trigger.

I do indeed, as somewhere in my future there is a standard Sebenza 25 or maybe even an Inkosi waiting for me.
Gonna put my own edge on it and just enjoy it.

This one was my personal grail.. It went with someone else as I was not able to grab it immediately from the FS section.

However, the wonderful BF member who got it before me decided to let it go as I was messaging him non-stop about it. :D

I knew in my heart that this one was waiting for me and it knew I was waiting for it too... :) All's well that ends well...
