Sure do. I was one of the people lamenting over the "fugly" Sebenza 25 Micarta when pictures first surfaced. Oh, the horror! as another BF'er would say.
Well, I walked into my local (40 miles away) B&M store only to see one sitting there, patiently, and had been since they picked it up at Blade 2015 a couple of months earlier. Apparently the $520 was too much for everyone, which is understood.
However, the light was shining just right through the window, through the glass case onto it in such a way I was transfixed as soon as my eyes landed on it. It was one of the most beautiful pieces of art I've ever seen.
And it was waiting there, in silence, all peaceful-like and patiently for me to come in the door finally.
That knife left with me and it will never leave me until I die. It is the older more-refined stonewash that I prefer.
I bought a lefty 25 Micarta recently that doesn't look as nice IMO with the "new" stonewash finish, and I EDC it and use for everything like it should. The 25 I earlier spoke of gets to simply be admired for what it is. A thing of beauty, a piece of functional art that also can perform if I ever need it to.
But chances are I will not. I always have the other one, so I get to eat my cake and have it, too. Since I am lucky enough to have two pieces of cake!
