Pic of my new knife I got yesterday! Don't you love it!

Stanley.jpg

3.75" opened
3.25" closed
.50" blade

Not much of a swedge on the blade or any belly, but you got to love it! Price was nice, and it's a pleasure to own a knife without the same ole black handle that we see tooo much of anymore

So, what is your latest knife purchase?

.Actualy i have found the Sears Craftsman retracktable razor knife a better deal than the Stanley.Lifetime garentee, when it breaks take it back and get a new one.I still use the same knife ive had for the last 7-8 years, and use it daily at work.I have the scars to prove it.

These things can be nasty if not careful. My wife works at Wally world and a few years back she sliced her palm and wrist pretty good while opening boxes. Now they can only use safety razors.

Interesting. We spend all our time talking about our fancy knives, which certainly is more fun, but the knife I use the most every day is one very like you new toy. My current one has an orange handle so I can find it easier when I drop it off the roof. It will last until it breaks or I can't find it any more.

I tend to buy utility knives and tape measures two and three at a time.

Stanley has a lifetime warranty on their stuff, too! It better have, I don't want to be out my 94 cents if it busts!

Wow, a one-hand opening out-the-front! I'd check your local weapons laws before I'd be caught carrying that evil thing!

What? You didn't spring the extra fifty cents for the delux model with the easy-access compartment to store spare blades in? Major mistake.

Really, if you think about it, these are very good knives for their purpose. They're well-built, one-hand opening, and, oh and this is the part I like best, no sharpening!

Very creative Phil! Awesome stag on that stagley knife. I think I would go with 52100 blades however. They will last longer than the ordinary damascus utility blades you can get at any hardware store.
