Well, I have owned a BK14 for a few years now and it has been great. I have taken it on all sorts of adventures and it has never let me down. I found it when looking for a new knife to bring backpacking and it lived up to expectations as a backpacking knife and an EDC knife. Not too long after I bought a BK13 which left me underwhelmed. It has just sat in a survival kit as a spare blade. I then stumbled upon a good deal on a BK15 and being a hunter it seemed like a good field knife which it has been. I boned a whole elk out with it and another knife and it did great. It has been a great camping knife as well. So for about two years these have been my only Beckers.

I kept looking at the BK9 and almost pulled the trigger more than once but alas my knife hobby is hard to support and my addiction to other brands has got in the way. Lately I have slowed down on buying folders as I have way more than any sane person would want or need. Over the past month I had made my mind up to buy a BK9 and then all of a sudden the Bundok dropped. Whoa!!! Had to have it. What? It comes with a BK4. Sure! Wait. It comes with a BK5, the big brother to my BK15? Uh, Yeah, I'll take it. So here we are, now my Becker count has doubled and I finally have some full sized Beckers.

But wait, that cannot be enough. Can it? I was amazed by the BK20 and all but within a few swings I was smitten with the BK4. Where have you been all my life? After chewing up quite a few 2x4s with it I decided I could not live without a backup. Well, that was Monday and today is Friday and my "pre-need replacement" has arrived. Woot! Seven Beckers and counting. Whoa, that happened fast!

Man, that's awesome. I'm very happy for you. The 4 is simply an incredible design. It can do anything, and it's still my favorite. Welcome to this wonderful addiction. You'll be happy here.

And for anyone else that reads this... THIS IS A POST OF VALUE!!!!

You got it good. Been there - done that.

Wait until you start needing back-ups for the back-ups.

Congrats on your new Beckers, and welcome to the fun house, I did pretty much the same, started with a couple knives and end up with almost 27...so far...

Hey BFK.......

Thank you for your Becker buy and, thank you for your kind words about them...... I am glad you like them and hope they continue to work diligently on your behalf...... Glad that they found a good home...

Ethan

What a great field knife. :) For hunting and fishing it has been a solid performer. This one pushed me over the edge I guess.

Some eye candy.

Disclaimer: This is a staged photo. I love my whiskey and my BK15 too much to leave them perched precariously over sixty feet of water. They were only there for a moment. ;)

bearfacedkiller,
Congrats on all the fine Beckers, but especially the 20! I keep saying it, many guys are going to be kicking them selves that they didn't get one when they were cheap!
