You got to me (first khukuri)

Well, I had a friend talking about his HI khukuri so I thought I'd stop by and start reading. Well, it didn't take long to figure out that I could get a lot of use out of one of these around my property. So I just now ordered a 15 inch Ang Khola. And, believe it or not, I read the safety thread before I decided. I'll be rereading it to get things firmly in mind before it gets delivered. What a great looking and functional tool to have around.

Welcome great first khuk. Good on ya for reading the safety thread. Khuks have a steep learning curve when it comes to "whoopsie!"'s.

Just remember the "Golden Rule." Once you get your kukri and think about posting a story the Golden Rule is, if there are no pictures, it didn't happen!

Once it comes I'll take and post pictures. BTW, I ordered it around 1:30 today and got an email from Yangdu at 1:57 saying it was going out in the mail (USPS Priority Mail) today. Is that customer service or what! :thumbup: Guess I'll need to hurry up and start reading the safety thread again.

Xringshooter-first, Welcome to the Forum and Congrats on your first khukuri acquisition. Its a true experience holding that first khuk in your hand. Yangdu's service is great. Some feel she must have a wormhole in Reno the blades get there so fast. I look forward to hearing what you think of your new knife.
