Thank you all, and Ethan for being so nice. I've now got the bug so bad that if it does not let up I might have to seek medical assistance. Or psychological intervention!

Got my first, a 5, on Tuesday for my birthday. Nipped my finger on it putting it back in the sheath, barely tapped the blade on accident. A bandaid and a couple of days fixed it. Meanwhile, looked for my next one.

Decided on the 9 next. Pulling the trigger on it next week, a particular one. Will post pics and why that particular one when I get it.

Now a Matchex is calling my name. Might get that today locally.

Also getting a 15 while available.

So I'll be up to 4 within two weeks.

When will it end? I need help... :eek:
 
It doesn't... Once you own the full line, you start looking for Cincinnatis and other older models. Oh btw, Good Luck, you'll need it...

I am in a similar situation. I yearned for a 9 for a good little while, and spent time on this forum before I even had it. Now I have 2 Bk9s, a 2, a 10 and a 24 is on the way.
Honestly, I cant keep all of them, or my wife will flip, I am doing reviews, but I think a 9 and a 2 might be all I get rid of, along with a ton of Ontarios.

But i know that it will continue... it is inevitable. I was supposed to end my reviews with one knife, starting with like 10, and I will end up with at least 3, all of which are beckers lol
 
Sure, blame us. No one MADE you buy that first one....the way I see it, first take responsibility for your own actions; then just embrace it. We are all a GOOD influence....because, well....welcome to the rowboat, eh?

A new shipment just arrive at the local shop and now I'm infecting my friends with the Becker virus as I show them deliberately with a evil grin. Some of them will be picking their first or second and third soon while I'm already have plan for an extra 9 as backup while looking at 4 and 7. Will pick up the 16 first.

I can see it's a slippery slope. But I'm enjoying the ride!

And yes, you guys DID make me do it, buy my first one. Everyone here loves them so I had to see what it was all about. I was powerless to resist.

The 9 seems to be universally admired, so it is next.

The 5 is a little larger than I expected, but I like larger knives anyway so I feel right at home.

Sir, I going to have to have to ask you to calm down. We are only bad influences, because you think you have a problem. :D Oddly enough it's my scariest habit (to others), but least harmful one to me. If that makes any sence.
