Well I've been hinting to the wife that I wanted a BK2 for either my B-day or for X-mas. Problem is she doesn't get hints very well so I went ahead and ordered one last night. Which by the way is what she would have told me to do(yea...trying to justify it). Should have it Tuesday or Wednesday. Let the Jonesing begin!

Well... I've tried giving her knives a few times. She's not into them and I eventually end up with them. The only time she needs a knife is during mushroom season. She'll take one of my neck little knives.
 
The bk2 is my favorite knife. Your going to love that knife. I think it is one of the best beckers that Ethan made, and I like many of his designs. I like the information on this forum because it's given by people who have a love for their knives and want you to have the same.

it's a verah-fine, though i still lean towards the Machax as the best design...

the Machax does SO much. bowmakers esp like the draw knife aspects, and snag them. Ethan still favors his pre-camillus model as do i.

though lately, i use the Magnum Camp a lot more, the Machax definitely is something i reach for first, unless i'm being adventurous and grab something else.
