So, only two little weeks ago I was a fixed blade guys who had been a fixed blade guy for years. Sure, I had a basic 110 and a few mini-alphas laying around; who doesn't.
Some how I stumbled across a custom 110. Heck, I didn't even know such thing existed. I fell in love almost immediately!
In the course of two weeks, I have sold several fixed blades and now am the proud owner of 4 customs. 3 from Don Seals out of Joshua, TX and 1 from Eric at Arksknives, and I have a feeling I'll be getting one more from Eric soon! 2 are already at my home and the other 2 are on the way.
This is out of control!!!
Holy crap man, I need an intervention! I never realized how many beautiful 110s existed. After decades of carrying knives you start to realize that the odds of you really needing anything more than a 110 are slim.
Sure, I have a few Fallkniven that accompany me to the woods, but these 110s have found a new home; my hip!
I'm not much of a safe queen guy, so they should all see some use and carry time. I've already talked to Don about a spa treatment and he sounds like a great guy. Once I'm willing to part with one of the older customs I'll send it back to him and get her all tightened up and like-new again.
And yes, once they're all sittin purdy at my house, I'll take some nice sexy photos of them and get the posted for ya'll.
Here's what's even crazier, the first one I bought was via an offline eBay deal, from a member who's also on the BF, who I randomly found out was a friend and coworker I hadn't seen in almost 10 years!!! How nuts is that!?!
Anyhow, it's nice to be home. I need a break from the mall ninjas and tacticool stuff. Now my wallet needs a break too!!!!
