You guys ever see this company marking on a traditional fixed blade?

Sorry for the very blurry picture, but it's two crossed swords, a six point star at the top, and the letters PKW.

I believe it's an older company brand that is likely no longer active.
Any idea what firm and the country it may be from?

"P___ Knife Works"? ("English" spellings)
If read like a livestock brand, I think it would be "PKW".
i  think I saw that stamp when I was a kid, but I don't remember the name of the company that used it.

I see the W and I think Werk, which doesn't narrow it down much.
