Theo sent me this picture the other day of the knife he was working on.He was doing one like the one I had on my tutorials.(sorry Theo but it is a antique reproduction and I didn't drsign it,wish I did)
Any way He got it finished and sent the pic and I was amazed at his work,me being American and not really thinking about his measurements being in metric I was thinking it was a full sized Bowie. But check out these pictures.

To be honest, when I read the first part of your post and saw the picture I thought it was a little rough. Then when I saw the second picture I was amazed. I tried making a mini once and screwed it up so many times I quit and threw it away. He must have the nerves of a priest. Nice Job!:) :)

Hey Peter,I can only wish my third knife would have looked that good,Heck mine didn't lokk anything like that for a long time..
Plus this was done with files and sandpaper...No machines, just to cool if you ask me..
Bruce

My compliments to the maker on a very nice job.

And my hat is off to Bruce for being thoughtful enough to post a thread about a new guys work and say complimentary things. That kind of encouragement must mean a lot.

That is probably an authentic Bowie carried by one of the Wizard of Oz munchkins.:D Pretty cool. Cory

HA! You should have posed that with a G.I. Joe with Kung Fu Grip! :D I was reading the post and saw the first picture also and was thinking that is a mans sized knife! Probably a 12" blade and can chop a tree down with one blow. Boy was I wrong! Great little knife, must take alot of patience to do small knives like that. Great job Theo!

Man, that is fantasic! One of the best minitures I've seen in a long time. Third knife?! Wow! Thanks for showing us this one, Bruce, please pass my compliments along to Theo.

Dave

Don't get me wrong Bruce. I wish my knives looked like that good now. The only reason it looked unusual at first glance is because of the extreme close up it needed. :)

Wow, thank you all for the nice reply on my minibowie!!
Never thought I could get such reactions. :D
Special thanks to you Bruce for posting the pictures and support.

Glad to see you can post now Theo...
And no problem on posting this up for you,Anything for a friend..
Bruce

Good to have you Theo, that is just incredable.

When I saw the first pic. I thought it was a little rough on the finishing, but when I saw the second photo, WOW!

That's just to cool! I cant wait to see what you do next.

Welcome Theo. I can't wait until you do a full size. Many people think minatures must be easy to make. It's been my experience that if you can make good minis, you should make great full size knives.:)
