You guys with AD-10's, how do you like yours?

I rarely see these for sale on the exchange so I'm guessing most everyone who gets one keeps it. In my mind the AD-10 is the ultimate folder. I love the looks of them I hold Demko with the highest regard as a knifemaker. I have an order placed with Mr. Demko, but I'm still 10 months out so I'm trying to wait patiently, and buying some of his Cold Steel models to tide me over.

I getting mine done with g10, a Ti backspacer, and Elmax steel. Just want to see what you guys who own one of these thinks of it, and I would love to see some pics! I am not dead set on the materials I chose for mine as of yet so I would appreciate any input from you guys on whether I should stick with what I am going with or change anyhting. Also, if you want to donate your AD-10 to me I'm open to that as well

I just placed my order with contoured G-10 and elmax steel, I have no doubts it will be the best folder I have ever purchased. I decided to not get too fancy because I will be using this as my everyday carry.

I'd guess the reason you don't see many on the exchange is not that as much as the fact he can only make so many triad lock knives a year.

Just received my 4Max in Green G10 with Elmax and it is the best folder I own....hands down. I also placed an AD-10 order but I'm going with CPM-4 and carbon fiber. I've completely reduced my folder collection to a point I have the 4Max, soon will have the AD-10 and a couple of others(two to be exact). I'm constantly watching the net for anyone who has an AD-10 for sale.....agreed that you just don't see them around very often.

I thought about the contoured G10. What exactly is the difference between it and textured?

Best custom folder I've purchased with no regrets. It's built like a tank. Mine has lightning strike carbon fiber, titanium backspacer and elmax steel, perfection.

Thanks for the pics Thrill. That thing is gorgeous! I'm afraid I will be reticent to use mine when it comes. I may just have to make myself use it the first day and get it out of the way.

Can you post a picture of the clip for me? I don't think I've ever seen the clip on these sexy beasts.

I'm very happy with my AD10. I went with peel ply carbon fiber and CPM-M4. I've used it, but not hard, and it cuts very well. It's quite thin behind the edge. (~.015")
It's incredibly solid, a very impressive piece of work. The wait is long, but worth it. I waited over a year for mine.

The pricing is very reasonable, and I'd order another one, but he makes so few and there are a lot of people who want one and don't have one. It is definitely worth every penny.

Here is the picture with clip. In my opinion, it could be executed a little better to match the whole knife, but is certainly not a deal breaker.
