I have a pending friend request from a new guy who wants to shill his training seminar here. I don't want hundreds of "friends" I don't even know. So I checked Reject selected friend requests and Save Changes.

The request remains, I can't get rid of it. I am now carrying Your Notifications: 1 in my upper right corner. Permanently?
