Bruce, I think it start from grinding without a mask???? All the steel dust kills brain cells.Its amazing how many nerves we knifemakers kill in our fingers.
you know its bad when.... your thinking of your forge while burning leaves so you hook the blower portion of a shop vac up to your burn barrel to speed up the process...... hahah

OH!!! So you were the guy that swapped a few beads for Manhattan and Brooklyn????George , a few hundred years before the Portuguese discovered codfish on the Grand Banks and settled New Bedford, the Vikings settled the new world !!
