The other day my wife saw a new recipe for roasted squash dip.

I though she said roasted squirrel dip...and it sounded good!

Any other signs of outdoors obsesion you guys can think of?

I daydream of backpacking at some of my favorite places, or even ones I've just seen pics of, while cutting my grass with a pushmower. I have almost an acre, but usually cut part of my neighbors' yards on either side of mine, too, even though they both use riding mowers.

If we could use the computer at work, I'd never get my meager amount of work done.:D

How about whenever you see anyone's footwear, you appraise it for how well it would hold up to hiking and woods use?

"Hey honey, pass the butternut", er....Freudian slip-knot....

Trying to strategize a work placement that is close to or in the Boreal, and interesting metal detecting sites. A couple of years ago I spent spring, summer, fall with a BK-2 strapped to my hip almost constantly.
