...you see a pocket knife on a TV show, and you get all excited.
I was watching a cop show yesterday. The plot involves an undercover cop, who is taken prisoner by terrorists. They tie him to a chair, with his hands tied together behind his back. They pour gasoline all over the floor around him, then walk away, pouring gasoline all around, in other rooms, as they walk toward the exit. They have not yet dropped the match.
Maybe you can guess what happens. Yes, the undercover cop escapes alive, because he is able to reach into a pocket, and pull out a pocket knife, and cut the ropes from around his hands, etc.
So I am watching this scene, and thinking, "That pocket knife looks familiar." Today I get an email reminder that there is an Eka Executive pocket knife in my ebay shopping cart. That's it! That's the one I saw on TV. Or maybe the one on TV was a cheap knockoff. Who knows.
I think I might be a knife knerd.
