Thanks to @prom52's current post-milestone give-away I found an old FF knife of interest. I had previously mentioned that I found and came to this site while researching a Federal Marshall's auction which featured a number of knives, many of them Fiddleback. I wound up missing the auction due to work issues and subsequently bought several pieces from that auction via negotiation with an eBay seller.
I had also told a friend of mine about the auctions - he did purchase a couple of those lots. After he received the knives I got to see them - a couple of them got my particular attention, but having no background or history with respect to FF at that time I didn't think anything more of it.
@prom52' give-away prompted me to go back and learn some FF history based upon the questions he posed. At present, I am certain I have 11/12 of the questions that were posed, answered - and have a good educated guess on the 12th. While doing the FF research, however, in one of the threads I came upon this: FF1.png

I realized that this is one of the knives currently in my friends collection. He knows I love Damascus type blades and I've already spoken to him about obtaining this piece. Will let you know what happens.

That crazy Oak handle on the Bushhermit was some of the strangest most beautiful wood I've ever seen, and I have never seen any like it again.

Those were the only damascus knives I've ever made IIRC.
