soon, my youngest nephew will get 10 years old and as all the kids in my family, to their 10th birthday they get a knife, like me when I was a kid.
So a 83mm blade from 52100 (so he has to learn how to care for a knife) with a clip point (looks more like a Bowie or pirate sabre
) brass as his favorite coulour is yellow, sambar stag and a pommel from brass, too.
Together with the knife he will get a letter with things you can do with a knife (cutting) and things you don't do with a knife (throwing, batoning, prying, fooling arround etc) and how to care for, plus a pack of bandages
