I know I haven't been around too much lately. Things have been a bit more hectic than expected with the start of the new school year (especially since I have no planning period), but I haven't forgotten my brethren and sistren here. Nor do I forget to come and look around every few days.

Being that some of you know a little bit about me and what I've gone through over the past couple years, I figured I should share some news with you:

My wife and I are expecting our first child!!!:eek::eek:

And we didn't even hafta spend money on IVF to get it done. My reproductive endocrinologist will probably have a cow herself. My wife's been sending me so many damned almonds (for improved viritlity) for lunch each day she might birth an almond joy! ;)

Anyway, it's just a quick note to keep you all posted. I will check back in later.

Peace,

Jason

Thanks a lot, people. You have NO idea how unexpected it was to find out she is pregnant after all we've heard from doctors and such. We feel extremely blessed and are super-excited.

Congratulations, sir! That's awesome news. Your life is about to change in a major (good) way. But before the baby comes, you get to experience the "joy" of dealing with a pregnant wife.

My wife and I just had our first a few months ago, and my advice to you is- get as much sleep as you can now. Sleep, sleep, sleep!

Babies and sleep are natural enemies.

That is a major congrats to both of you! As for the babies and sleep thing, maybe, but both of mine slept through the night starting at about 12-13 weeks. They are pure joy, until about 22 months when they become a little terror! But you wouldn't give them up for anything!
