As my Festina turned a little bit tired and beaten I was in search for a new watch preferently tritium marked (I think the indiglo system of the Festina ate the batteries like candies :grumpy: ). The first ones I found were the Trasers, nice ones but... I found this site http://ninanet.net/watches/others04/Mediums/mmarathon.html, googling a little more I arrived to www.broadarrow.net with a nice militar watch forum wich let me to the european representative www.chronometer.net, good communication and feedback on the web...et voilà I'm the happy owner of a Marathon GSAR :D :

Looks great! It looks huge though. Any chance you could post a pic panned back or with a referece item for size? I have been drooling over these on countycom.com

48mm, same as the TSAR and yeah that wrist does look small. Very cool watch by the way!

I think you are right with the size of my wrist :o , the bezel is 40 mm diameter, side to side including crown is 45mm wide, lug to lug is 46 mm long, all those dimension are, I think quite normal. It may be oversized in its height: it is around 14 mm high :jerkit: . It comes with a rubber strap, stainlees steel bracelet is optional.
You may find them in www.county.com, www.broadarrow.net, and (if you may buy them there  ) in http://www.gsaglobalsupply.gsa.gov (browse looking for Marathon) I think they are the GSAR and TSAR but not sure.
To give you a reference scale here are some picture side by side with a Spyderco Endura 4

The tritium feature is really cool as you always have your watch lighting, no button to push, no worry about dimming luminescence (at least for the next 10-12 years :D ) after a few hours of darkness.
Best regards
