You Still Have Time

I would just like you to know that there is still time to register for my hammer in or if you are a collector there are a few spots left for our private show Friday before the hammer in.

Tim Hancock, Larry Fuegen, and Harvey Dean are not going to be at Blade so you can be sure they will be coming to this private show prepared with some very special knives.

I am getting so excited for this that I can hardly stand it. On Friday we also have 4 makers that are going to do the performance part of their Journeyman Smith test.

Here's a list of makers that will likely be at the hammer in, please excuse me if I leave some out.

How's that line up?!! Tim, Larry, and Harvey are the demonstrators.

Hotel: I got a great group rate at the brand new Hilton Garden in for 99 plus tax. Their rates are normally $160. Call 406-532-5300 and ask for the American Bladesmith Society.

Rental Car: I got a VIP rate set up at 51.85 per day unlimited miles. Call 406-543-3131 and ask for Karis. Tell her what you're coming for and she will set it up.

You will fly into Missoula International Airport (MSO). You can connect to Missoula from Minneapolis(Northwest), Salt Lake City(Delta), Denver(United, Frontier), and Seattle(Alaska Air).

I'm driving up with my 14 year old son - 12 hours from Denver. I told him, no farts in the car! Still cheaper than flying, especially since Frontier Airlines announced it was eliminating service to Missoula (and several other small cities). They refunded my ticket in full. When I looked for another flight the cheapest one was $400 more than my original Frontier flight! So... yeah, I'm driving... and really looking forward to it. Something tells me this is going to be THE do-not-miss event of the year.
