Does yours have strong springs and sharp serrations on the button making it not so easy to fire?

Mine seems hard to do so.

Post some pictures of the area that is sharp. I've been contemplating buying this knife as the price for materials seems to be worth the asking price.

It's well made no doubt but it feels like pushing against a saw blade and the springs are strong that you know it ain't gonna misfire.

Wow, that is pretty steep and it does look sharp. It would be nice to smooth it out and have it recoated.

I've thought of that but I'm afraid I'll defeat its purpose. As I said, strong ass springs. :suspicion:

The internals are interesting, they are similar to the Scarab. I love the way Benchmade does their D2. As far as the springs, I have Ultratech that requires what seems to be an ungodly amount of force to fire and close. As you said though, good to know it won't open in the pocket accidentally.

Hey Rev!! Just got an Ultrarech yesterday, my first OTF, and there is NO frigging way that thing will fire in pocket!!! The firing button is no where near as uncomfortable looking as the one shown though. Very steep.

The low profile of the button does provide an extra layer (if you can call it that) of safety and may prevent snagging when drawing from the pocket or sheath. It looks like the Turmoil is a must try knife I will add to my list.
