At the start of the new year I decided to only carry and buy knives in the USA this year. I kept track of what I carried each week. Below is the breakdown of the knives I carried and number of weeks they were carried. I plan on using this system of keeping track for the next few years. I don't know if I will stick to the only USA thing.
Emerson Horseman- 23 Weeks, this easily became my favorite knife
Benchmade mini griptilian -15 weeks, very light and easy to carry
Buck spitfire in S35VN - 5 weeks, very slim and I was given it as a gift
Benchmade Northfork - 4 weeks, my father gave this to me for helping him with a job. Also I think this model is very underrated
Emerson mini cqc7 - 3 weeks, classic model
Benchmade 940-2 - 3 weeks, just got this and I think it will be a major player in 2017

Just wondering what was your most carried blades of 2016?

Mine was the sage2 and tidioute 14 for edc pocket carry. I have a couple beaters around the house garage and cars that I tend to pick for rough use.

there was a lot of Chaparral, and technically the Manix2 is always with me in a bag or vehicle, but the most often had to be the Bowie:

My most common daily carry this year was the ZT0095. Also, this year I switched my most carried Karambit (which I carry left pocket reverse grip) from an Emerson to a Brous... And As always for many years, I keep a Victorinox Swisstool Spirit and a Surefire Aviator on me at all times as well.

When I knew I was going to need a heavy-duty knife for outdoor work I carried the Benchmade Adamas, and would often carry the Griptilian along with it

For my around the house knife, I carried the Spyderco H1 Pacific Salt

Vintage imperial Barlow
Vintage imperial h6 fixed blade
Vic pocket pal
Vic recruit
Sog seal pup

Here are my top carry knives for 2016:

1. Benchmade Grip 550HG G10: 45% - I confess I didn't have a lot of love for this knife, and rarely carried it, until I added the aftermarket G10 scales. Now it is my #1

2. Kizer Sovereign V4423A2: 30% - a real beauty and a great knife

3. Zero Tolerance 0909: 15% - a work horse! this is what I carry usually carry when I know I'm going to be using my knife all day long

4. RealSteel H6: 11% - another great budget knife!! fantastic at this price point

5. Ontario RAT 1: 6% - easily my favorite budget knife, I love this one! It just doesn't see as much pocket time as it used to. A sentimental favorite that has seen a lot of hard use and held up very well.

6. Kershaw/Emerson CQC-9K: 3% - I recently picked this one up. I like it a lot, especially at the low price point. I'm carrying this one as I type, but I can tell you now it's probably not going to make the EDC rotation. Is just isn't as smooth and easy opening as the other five on the list above, when not using the Wave function.

SAK no doubt.

That however is not my most used folder in 2016. 95% of my knife use is at home, for which Spyderco Manix 2 light weight cts-bd1 and Ontario Rat 1 take the spot.

Emerson Mini CQC 15. Every day all this year, plus four months of last year.

I'll carry a second knife sometimes for a certain purpose. Either a Spyderco Military, Para 2, Police (fully serrated), Matriarch 2.

All depends on what I think I might need it for.

My most carried knife by far in 2016 was/is Todd Begg Steelcraft Mini Bodega.

Wow that must have taken serious will power to carry one knife all year long, or it just goes to show how awesome Emersons are

Very good question! I rotate many different knives for EDC, so this will be difficult! In no particular order...

Folders:
Spyderco Stretch
BM 940
ZT 0350TS (Just got a ZT0770CF that will see a lot of pocket time as well)
Spyderco Tasman Salt SE
BM Griptillan 551

Fixed blades:
Bradford Guardian 3
Grohmann #1
Esee Izula

Lol, that's as far as I could narrow it down!

i've been carrying a slightly older version of one of these:

every day for the last year.

i have a variety of frame locks that i rotate through, but that case is in my pocket no matter what.

XM-18 Bowie or Spanto, rotate every week so pretty much both get equal carry/use. Also occasionally ZT560 for when I need a beater & don't want to work the XM's that hard.

Aaaand....EDC fixed blade would be my Busse SOB...recent score so it's been carried only for December but will most likely be listed in this thread at the end of 2017 as my 52-week EDC lol

All of my carry knives are made in the US- some variation of PM2 or Manix, or occasionally a Benchmade.

I edc a lot of different knives this year but my #1 is my small Sebenza

The 940-1 and the Caly 3.5 come in second
